I just came back after teaching Summer School at SAIS, Johns Hopkins University, Washinton,DC. I tauht Eng/ Lingiuistics at Govt College, Malerkotla and Hindu College. I have published a poetry book” Reflections on Tsunami” and have written numerous articles in Eng, Punjabi for vrious publications. I would like to read a few poems in Punjabi on Aug 4 at Canton. Chanan di Umber, Masoom Chehri(Innocent Faces), Sambli Sundri, Tsunami Da Kehar, Kalpana Chawla …are some examples.
My articles such as Japaji Sahib: Celebration of Cosmic Rhythm, Poety of Rumi: Alhemy of Silence and Ecstasy , Poetry of Bhai Bir Singh, Amrita Pritam…have appeared in India Michigan magazin and Punjab News.
I have recited poems to raise funds for Tsunami and Katrina. You can sell my book at Mushehra and I will donate part of sale for your organization.
